About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Developer to join our team at interim Group. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex features and functionalities in cross-platform applications using Kotlin (Multiplatform) or Swift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality, responsive user interfaces, ensuring consistency with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and Google Play Store guidelines.
  • Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code, optimizing the app's performance, memory usage, and responsiveness.
  • Set up and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using tools like Github Actions to automate the build, testing, and deployment process.
  • Implement security best practices in the app, including secure data storage, encryption, and user authentication, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements

Hard skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years professional experience in Android development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, successful Android applications.
  • Experience with Android libraries and frameworks: Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Multi-Platform
  • Experience with UI/UX Design principles and experience in implementing responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Experience with setting up and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using tools like Github Actions
  • Experience with the entire mobile development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Soft skills:

  • Willingness to work in a startup environment, which often requires flexibility, a hands-on approach, and a proactive attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex mobile applications.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (German very helpful but not required), both verbal and written, to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience working in agile or Scrum environments, with the ability to work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
