The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Development Engineer to join our team at Abbott Automation Solutions GmbH in Hamburg. As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software solutions for our laboratory automation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software solutions for laboratory automation systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions with hardware components
  • Develop and maintain software documentation and technical specifications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, preferably in a laboratory automation or medical device industry
  • Strong programming skills in C#, Python, or Java
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
