As a Partner and Managing Director at w3.fund, you will play a critical role in driving our fundraising efforts and securing capital from Limited Partners and institutional investors. Your primary focus will be on leading the capital raising process for both our early-stage venture fund and our liquid token fund.
You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with current and potential investors, providing them with updates and insights on fund performance and market trends. Additionally, you will support the sourcing of promising Web3 investment opportunities and assist in evaluating potential investments through due diligence and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Fundraising Efforts: Drive the capital raising process for both w3.fund and w3.wave by engaging with Limited Partners and institutional investors.
- Develop and Maintain Investor Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with current and potential investors.
- Strategic Fundraising: Create and execute strategies for LP fundraising, including pitching, negotiating terms, and structuring deals.
- Support Deal Sourcing: Assist in sourcing promising Web3 investment opportunities.
- Due Diligence and Analysis: Conduct due diligence and analysis on potential investments.
- Market Representation: Represent w3.fund at industry events and conferences.
- Collaboration with Founders and Funds: Collaborate with other venture funds and industry stakeholders to generate deal flow and identify co-investment opportunities.
- Advanced Education: A Master's degree from a leading business school or university.
- Relevant Experience: 5-7 years of experience in VC or TradFi, with a focus on fundraising and investor relations.
- Strategic Thinker: An independent thinker with excellent analytical skills and a willingness to challenge the mainstream mindset.
- Exceptional Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively pitch to investors and represent the fund at high-profile events.
- Action-Oriented: A proactive, results-driven approach with a strong focus on achieving fundraising goals.
- Team Player with Independence: Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being highly effective independently.
- Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in both German and English, with strong interpersonal skills for engaging with a diverse investor base.
