About the Role

As the Operations and Maintenance Team Lead in our Berlin office, you will play a key role in driving our mission to expand large-scale photovoltaic projects and meet the global demand for clean electricity. You will lead a team of managers and technicians, manage key customer and subcontractor relationships, and ensure top-tier plant operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of O&M Managers, Plant Managers, and Technicians in a designated regional area
  • Point of contact for customers in a country or geographical area
  • Coordinate with Commercial Team to ensure profitability and control expenses
  • Coordinate with Berlin Control Centre and responsible local Plant Manager
  • Guarantee all obligations arising from existing service and maintenance contracts
  • Organize and manage subcontractors or internal resources for electrical and mechanical maintenance works, inspections, and repairs
  • Organize site handover, takeover for operational phase, alignment with Mobility Manager
  • Organize subcontractor audits
  • Hold electrical responsibility for O&M activities in a Country (if applicable)
  • Organize and constantly monitor the regional structure for internal resources based on qualification and HSE aspects
  • Interface with subcontractor and constantly aware of work performed at site
  • Manage ground keeping activities
  • Support the line manager on talent acquisition and recruiting
  • Reporting and documentation
  • Ticket/work order recipient
  • Warranty tracking, spare parts management
  • On-call service on weekends
About You
  • Experienced in renewable energy as an engineer or technician with a strong hands-on mentality
  • 3+ years Solar PV O&M Experience on Utility Scale Solar
  • Relevant qualification in an electrical/mechanical or engineering discipline
  • Certified (AP or SAP) authorization is a plus
  • Certified or trained on central and string inverter is a plus
  • Multitasking while being able to prioritize important tasks and work on own responsibility
  • Highly mobile, especially in terms of traveling internationally
  • Diligent, careful, precise working style
  • Excellent communication skills and customer orientation
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work in an intercultural environment
