Dentsply Sirona, a leading manufacturer of professional dental products and technologies, is seeking a skilled Usability Engineer to join our team. Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the usability engineering of our cloud-based dental applications and devices, empowering dental professionals and revolutionizing the way dental care is delivered.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our medical devices meet the highest standards of usability, safety, and effectiveness.
- Create and maintain Human Factors/Usability Engineering documentation as part of change management for existing products and new developments.
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct usability evaluations, including preparation of test materials, recruitment of participants, and test moderation.
- Work with UX team members and stakeholders to define user interface requirements for safe and effective products with excellent user experience.
- Support the development of the Usability Engineering process (SOPs & work instructions).
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in technology and dental care to continually improve safety, efficacy, and user experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a UX researcher in an industry setup, with a focus on qualitative UX research methods and a demonstrated ability to conduct research and deliver insights that inform design and development.
- Ability to apply appropriate methods to address different research questions and project needs.
- Experience working with a global multi-disciplinary team of UX professionals, Product/Solution Managers, and Architects/technical leads throughout the design process.
- Business English Fluency is a must.
- 10% of travel is expected in this role, especially to conduct UX research with users and collaborate with other stakeholders.
