Product Assurance and Quality Assurance Engineer

Serco is seeking an experienced Product Assurance and Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Munich, Germany. As a key member of our space services team, you will be responsible for providing PA/QA services to support the Galileo FOC phases.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a Product Assurance and Safety Plan, including Statements of Compliance.
- Manage subcontractors and conduct audits and inspections as needed.
- Provide regular progress reports on product assurance and safety status, problems, and activities.
- Implement and control quality assurance tasks according to the PA Plan.
- Support day-to-day surveillance of flight, mission, and ground operations preparation and execution activities.
- Assist with contractual support, document approval, and ensuring IT tools comply with process needs.
- Monitor and support operations validation and other activities interfacing with other segments.
- Manage and coordinate WP6 non-conformance and anomaly control programs and dedicated processes for flight, mission, and ground ARBs.
- Coordinate WP6 configuration control processes, including Flight CCBs and PCBs, as outlined in the PA Plan.
- Support project management in the overall risk management process.
- Define, monitor, and control critical items.
- Participate in lesson-learned activities as needed.
- Ensure quality management tasks are performed under a certified Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001.
- Coordinate internal and external client audits as needed.
- Support SEC OPS activities and boards analogous to PA management tasks.
- University Degree in Engineering or Technical Sciences.
- Several years of experience in Product Assurance and Quality Assurance in the aerospace domain.
- Knowledge of Configuration Management and Product Assurance implementation within a quality system certified to ISO 9001 is an asset.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in standard office automation tools (MS Office, Email, Internet, etc.).
- A hands-on mentality and a systematic, self-organized approach with the ability to prioritize.
- EU citizenship is necessary.
- Security clearance up to EU RESTRICTED level is required.
