We are seeking a skilled Hardware Developer to join our team at Optimus Search in the Potsdam area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware design, development, and testing, with a focus on creating reliable and efficient hardware solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and testing of hardware components and systems, including PCBs, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing protocols to ensure the reliability, performance, and safety of hardware components.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, including schematics, datasheets, and test reports.
  • Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, providing technical support to production and quality assurance teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in hardware development, preferably in a commercial setting.
  • Hands-on experience with PCB design and layout tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle).
  • Proficiency in hardware description languages (HDL) and familiarity with embedded systems development.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with FPGA design and prototyping.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and certification processes for hardware products.
