About You

As a Development Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and refining perovskite solar cell production processes, especially around thin-film deposition and absorber layers. Your expertise in thin-film materials will be pivotal at the intersection of research and manufacturing.

  • Oversee and refine perovskite solar cell production processes, focusing on thin-film deposition and absorber layers.
  • Manage independent projects, transitioning technology from laboratory scale to industrial production, and optimize cell efficiency.
  • Lead the commissioning and installation of new production equipment and create quality and safety documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, innovate, and ensure smooth process integration.

Your ability to communicate technical information clearly will be essential, both to internal teams and external partners.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of thin-film materials, ideally within perovskite solar cells or semiconductor fields.
  • Experience in manufacturing, statistical process control, and working with automated systems.
  • Strong project management skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
  • A collaborative mindset with fluency in both German and English (written and spoken).
Compensation and Benefits

Estimated annual salary: €85,000 - €110,000 depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
