About the Position

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach in our Social Work program at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) Europe. As a faculty member, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our students and contributing to the academic excellence of our institution.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Social Work courses in a face-to-face and online environment using the Canvas Learning Management System.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and success.
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve curriculum and instructional methods.
  • Participate in faculty development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current in the field of Social Work.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning.
  • Professional experience in Social Work or related field.
  • Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is strongly preferred.
  • Local applicants only. Adjunct faculty positions are not eligible for UMGC sponsored logistical support.
