About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior PKI System Security Specialist to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our PKI Operations support team, you will play a crucial role in managing our mission-critical enterprise PKI environments that support corporate and cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting mission-critical systems across multiple geographical locations and infrastructure providers. You should also possess advanced level troubleshooting and support skills for PKI system issues. Additionally, you should be able to maintain and support PKI systems within the organization and provide consulting services to customers on PKI certificate usage and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and manage enterprise-wide PKI environments, ensuring seamless integration with other IT teams
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures for certificate management, including issuance, revocation, and renewal
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability patching to identify and mitigate potential security threats
  • Collaborate with other IT teams, such as network and systems administrators, to ensure smooth operation of PKI systems
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to PKI and certificate management
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 security and availability of PKI systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 7+ years related experience with enterprise cybersecurity, PKI environments
  • CISSP, CISM, SANS, or other related certifications
  • Strong Windows and/or Linux Operating system support skills
  • Good working knowledge of terminology used in PKI infrastructure (Certificate Authorities, Registration Authority, Certificate trust chains, OCSP and Certificate Revocation Lists)
  • Experience with TLS server and client certificate and private keys management
  • Experience with using HSMs (Hardware Security Modules)
  • Experience with Algorithms, including RSA and AES
  • Experience with Enterprise-wide Key and Secret Management
  • Fluent with protocols: TCP/IP, SSL, TLS, SCP and HTTPS. Understand Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) and how it is used

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year based on location and experience.
