Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Inventory Planner & Purchaser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels to ensure that our business operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Forecast Demand: Utilize historic Amazon SellerCentral data to accurately forecast demand and ensure that our inventory levels are aligned with business needs and customer demands.
- Perform Stock Calculations: Determine when and how much product to reorder based on sales data and inventory levels, taking into account factors such as lead times and inventory turnover.
- Create Production Plans: Develop detailed production plans for stock reordering to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
- Oversee Reordering Process: Manage the entire reordering process, from demand forecasting to delivery to the Amazon fulfillment center, ensuring timely and accurate restocking.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, with a strong understanding of supply chain management and inventory control.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics and Transportation, or a similar field.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
