Drive Digital Transformation with Knauf IT
We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Data Governance Officer to join our team at Knauf IT, an international market leader in the building materials' industry. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping our digital future and ensuring the seamless integration of technology into our global operations.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive data governance processes that align with Knauf's corporate values of humanity, partnership, commitment, and entrepreneurial spirit. This includes:
- Developing and maintaining data management policies, procedures, and standards across the organization.
- Providing expert guidance on data governance best practices to stakeholders, including senior leadership, IT teams, and business units.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate data-related risks, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and optimize data quality and security.
- Evaluating and recommending data management technologies, tools, and solutions to support the company's growth and innovation objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, or business administration.
- At least 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field, preferably in a multinational corporation.
- Strong knowledge of data governance principles, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
