About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Team Lead to join our team at Clade GmbH. As a key member of our Software Engineering department, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and testers focused on the development of cloud applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 4 engineers and testers, providing individual coaching, performance reviews, and supporting their career progression.
  • Work closely with the Head of Software Engineering, Senior Engineers, and external contractors to align development efforts with the overall product roadmap and objectives.
  • Oversee and participate in the creation of an enterprise option (on-premise or VPC deployed) to our existing cloud application, ensuring seamless deployment and functionality.
  • Enhance and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve software delivery and quality.
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes, such as OKRs and leadership meetings.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in cloud computing and deployment technologies.
Requirements
  • Experience in cloud application development, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, and MSAzure.
  • Experience with site reliability engineering, leveraging technologies such as Kubernetes and Helm.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline development and optimization, ideally with GitLab.
  • Strong leadership qualities and ability to apply them in a technical role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across domains and departments.
  • Hands-on attitude and willingness to actively contribute to shaping the team and company.
  • Very good written and spoken English. German skills are a plus.
