Job Title: Immigration Consultant, Business Mobility Services

Amazon's Immigration Team is seeking an experienced Immigration Consultant to support the needs of our growing DEU immigration team based in Berlin, Frankfurt, and Munich.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily immigration service execution as part of the DEU immigration case working team, managing a high-volume of cases, and coordinating between recruitment, onboarding, and other HR stakeholders and government authorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Filing and executing immigration cases, formulating and executing the best possible immigration strategy for each employee.
  • Manage a high caseload of applications, including new Visas, renewals, cancelations, and amendments of work permits and residency visas.
  • Coordinate with other team members for drafting and submission and collection of documents/approval notices.
  • Manage a high volume of communications with employees and internal groups while meeting the team respond SLA within a single business day or sooner.
  • Participate in formulating action plans to resolve issues.
  • Contribute to and drive process improvement initiatives, identifying defects or evaluating customer complaints.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience of hands-on German corporate immigration experience.
  • Excellent Germany and English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Process optimization experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
