About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position in our Technical Documentation Department in Munich, Germany. As a senior-level technical writer, you'll take ownership of small projects, guide and mentor team members, and effectively collaborate with subject matter experts and project leads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, adhering to company style guides, terminology guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate project status and issues to stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Contribute to the localization process, leveraging your expertise in content management systems, XML, and DITA.
  • Provide senior-level support for Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Journalism, or related field, and at least 5 years of full-time technical writing experience, preferably in the medical device field.
  • Advanced-level skills in communication, writing, and grammar in English at the native-speaker level.
  • Ability to take ownership of small projects, guide and mentor team members, and effectively collaborate with SMEs and project leads.
  • Advanced-level experience in localization of technical documentation in a regulated environment.
  • Expertise in content management systems, XML, and DITA.
