Job Title: Sustainability Controller

Corning is a leading technology company that is shaping the world through innovation. We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Controller to join our team.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for leading Corning's Environmental, Sustainability & Governance (ESG) reporting and disclosure process. This role requires a strong finance background with experience in ESG and financial reporting. You will work closely with our Legal, Tax, and Sustainability departments, as well as Engineering, Operations, and other functional teams across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Sustainability trends, frameworks, and regulatory requirements to advise management on required disclosures.
  • Ensure the company maintains an effective system of internal controls and enhances its Sustainability governance structure.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to assess the need for audit assurance over certain metrics and public disclosures.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time, both domestically and internationally.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of finance experience with a strong background in ESG and financial reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of global corporate experience.

Location:

The position is located in Berlin, Germany, or Budapest, Hungary, with hybrid working conditions.
