Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Hamburg. As a full-stack developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our freelancing platform, which consists of several web applications. Your expertise in backend and frontend development will enable you to make informed technical and product decisions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, coding, and optimizing features while ensuring performance and security standards are met.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the entire stack.

You will collaborate with the product team, designers, and other developers to create innovative and cohesive solutions. Regular code reviews and optimization will ensure that your work meets performance, security, and scalability standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A relevant degree, such as a Bachelor's in Business Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of practical experience in web development.
  • Proficiency in the entire software development lifecycle, including various agile development methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, deployments, testing, and operations.
  • Analytical thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills.
