Senior Quality Operations Manager

At CSL Behring, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Operations Manager to join our team. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact in the pharmaceutical industry.
About the RoleThis position offers a competitive salary of $145,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
We're looking for someone with 8-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, with specific knowledge in quality, manufacturing, process engineering, and regulatory disciplines. You should also have 3+ years' leadership/team management experience and a degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving compliance and ensuring the Value Stream's operational efficiency. You'll provide quality compliance oversight for the Marburg Manufacturing site, act as the Subject Matter Expert, and represent the department during critical investigations and audits.
Your skills and experience will be crucial in developing and implementing functional policies and procedures to improve product quality and compliance. You'll work closely with global functions and other CSL Behring Value Streams, sharing experiences and best practices.

Key Responsibilities- Review and approval of production protocols according to §14 AMG (German Medicines Act)
- Support the Value Stream Lead in developing people to meet both their career goals and organizational targets
- Develop and implement policies and practices to ensure compliant production and lean processes
- Ensure efficient, effective, and compliant execution of quality responsibilities
- Optimize inspection readiness and prepare for regulatory inspections
- Degree in a relevant scientific discipline (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry)
- 8-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry with specific knowledge in quality, manufacturing, process engineering, and regulatory disciplines
- 3+ years' leadership/team management experience
- Fluency in English
