Assistant Manager Laboratory Testing Specialist

Our product development teams work tirelessly to ensure every product meets our standards of excellence. As an Assistant Manager Laboratory Testing, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and translating test results into recommendations for product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and Development:
- Support the development of new test methodologies and equipment to enhance product performance.
- Improve existing testing methodologies to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Assist in defining standards for testing to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Laboratory Testing:
- Handle testing requests from various partners, including suppliers and external labs.
- Conduct physical tests and analyze results to ensure product quality and safety.
- Translate test results into development recommendations to inform product design and development.
- Ensure accurate data management and maintain testing records.
- Coordinate Round Robin Tests to validate testing methodologies.
- Manage sample processing and inventory to ensure efficient testing.
- Operations and Support:
- Support device purchasing and maintenance to ensure laboratory equipment is up-to-date and functional.
- Maintain testing facilities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Train colleagues on testing topics to ensure knowledge sharing and expertise.
- Consult on laboratory setup and design to optimize testing efficiency.
- Implement new testing methodologies to stay ahead of industry trends.
Key Relationships:
- Collaborate with Advanced Creation Testing & Quality and other functions to ensure seamless product development.
- Work closely with the Innovation Team to develop new products and technologies.
- Partner with Athlete Services to ensure product quality meets athlete expectations.
- Communicate with Product Operations and Business Units to inform product development and launch.
- Engage with External labs and Equipment suppliers to ensure testing standards and compliance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Expert knowledge of testing standards and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint to manage testing data and records.
- Fluent in English to communicate effectively with global teams.
Education and Experience:
- 4-year degree in Engineering or relevant field to ensure technical expertise.
- Previous practical experience in laboratory testing and product development preferred.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role to ensure leadership and expertise.
