Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Transformation Lead to join our team at E.ON Digital Technology.

As a Digital Transformation Lead, you will be responsible for leading our key Digital Technology growth and efficiency programs in Energy Markets/Trading, driving cross-regional and cross-functional digitization to transform E.ON into a digital-first energy company.

You will manage end-to-end delivery of large and complex solution programs, ensuring successful go-live and operation. Engage with senior stakeholders to secure buy-in and support for the program. Accountable for project governance, managing dependencies, risks, and budget to ensure successful delivery.

You will also play a leading role in building our Expert Services practice in Germany, focusing on people and business development, capability building, and recruiting. Build trusted relationships with clients, understanding their needs and tailoring our offers to address their challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex digital technology programs, including project management, design, development, testing, rollout, and operations
  • Manage delivery teams across multiple locations and vendors, managing external partners in dynamic environments
  • Build and run a practice, including capability and people development
  • Develop and implement digital transformation strategies to drive business growth and efficiency
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to secure buy-in and support for digital transformation initiatives
Requirements
  • Extensive experience leading complex digital technology programs
  • Strong consulting skills, from strategic thinking to problem-solving, effective communication, customer orientation, and organization
  • Broad technology knowledge and expertise in areas such as Business Transformation, Change Management, Digital Service & Platform Development, Rollout & Industrialization
  • University degree in Business, IT, or related field
  • Fluent in English and very good German language skills
