The Head of Computational Physics will play a crucial role in our Global Technology Organisation, driving research and innovation to optimize product development processes.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Supporting and accelerating product development with virtual methods to reduce experimentation costs.
- Managing a virtual team of CFD/FEA engineers and collaborating with international technology functions, sales, manufacturing, ESG, and QM teams.
- Providing thermal and mechanical simulations and designs to ensure compliance with ESG and QM standards, while surveying and assessing technical trends.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A university degree in a technical field, such as mechanical engineering, physics, or process engineering.
- Expert knowledge in thermodynamics and computational methods, FEM, CFD, etc.
- Solid experience with relevant simulation software, CAD, and MS Office products.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain complex work and results in a simplified and convincing manner.
- A good command of German and English, with any other language being an asset.
