Your Role

As a Vulnerability Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing our customers' cybersecurity maturity through system audits and penetration tests. You'll collaborate with our passionate experts on various modern projects related to application security, threat intelligence, and incident handling.

  • Configure and Run Vulnerability Scans: Identify vulnerabilities across on-premise and cloud environments (AWS, Azure) using Qualys Vulnerability Scans.
  • Correlate Vulnerabilities with Active Threats: Use Qualys Threat Protection to identify vulnerabilities that pose an immediate risk.
  • Develop Custom Reports and Dashboards: Present vulnerability data to various stakeholders through custom reports and dashboards in Qualys.
  • Integrate Patch Management: Automate patch deployment where feasible using Qualys Patch Management.
  • Integrate with Security Tools: Integrate Qualys with other security tools like SIEM (Splunk, Azure Sentinel) for improved monitoring and incident response.
  • Collaborate with Security Teams: Work closely with security, IT operations, and development teams to address identified vulnerabilities.
  • Fine-Tune Qualys Configurations: Adapt Qualys configurations to new environments, technology stacks, or emerging vulnerabilities.
Your Profile

We're looking for a skilled professional with:

  • Risk Assessment: Experience in assessing and mitigating potential security risks.
  • Attention to Detail: Careful analysis to spot potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex security concepts.
  • Continuous Learning: Keeping up with the latest security trends.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Working effectively with IT professionals.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in French and a good command of English (German is an asset).
  • Education and Experience: 5+ years of university education in IT and at least 3 years of professional experience.
