Medical Scientific Liaison Role

Bayer is a leading life science company that is committed to making a positive impact on people's lives. We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Scientific Liaison to join our team in North-East Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the region of Dresden, Jena, and Erfurt.
  • Provide scientific support and education to healthcare professionals, including the exchange of information on scientific data, study protocols, and professional literature.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic plans and initiatives to support the company's medical strategy.
  • Participate in congresses and conventions to network with key opinion leaders and gather competitive intelligence.
  • Coordinate scientific education activities and advisory boards with key opinion leaders.
  • Prepare reports and track activities against agreed-upon objectives.
  • Collect and facilitate Investigator Initiated Research (IIR) ideas and set-ups.
  • Interact with medical societies and provide scientific support and education.
  • Provide internal scientific support and clinical research support.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in natural sciences, pharmacology, or medicine, preferably complemented by an advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably as an MSL or in drug information, clinical research and development, or other clinically relevant activities.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and the ability to derive insights from data.
  • Excellent presentation and written and verbal communication skills, combined with strong organizational abilities.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
