Senior Java Developer

As a key member of our AirPlus Intelligence team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of our customer-facing data and analytics web applications.
Your Responsibilities- Lead the development of scalable web applications, making technological decisions and delivering applications together with the Scrum team.
- Participate in regular Scrum meetings, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues, providing expert-level support.
- Provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering growth and development within the team.
- Contribute to the AirPlus Community of Practice (CoP) Java, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
- Several years of hands-on experience in software development, specifically with Java.
- Excellent knowledge of Spring Boot microservices.
- Good understanding of vue.js, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Fluent in English and German.
- Experience with designing and building reporting solutions and data models is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Big-Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is beneficial.
This role is classified in the AirPlus organizational model (Cube): Senior Developer (Job family: IT/ Orientation: Developing/ Impact Level: Significant).
