About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team at STRATO Personal GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing structural parts, components, and installations made from metal and carbon fiber materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform structural analysis and simulation using FEM and traditional justification methods
  • Develop and implement trade-off analysis for different design solutions and concepts
  • Prepare analysis reports and statements to support airframe qualification
  • Assess damages and develop repairs for in-service aircraft
  • Support the Design Office and Mechanical System installation
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and assembly lines to evaluate concessions and deviations
  • Communicate with relevant stakeholders and adjacent departments
Requirements
  • Completed studies in engineering, aerospace, or a comparable field
  • Over 3 years of professional experience in the aerospace sector
  • Work experience as an engineer in aircraft structural analysis is required
  • Good knowledge of standard stress analysis methods (e.g. HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark & Young)
  • Knowledge of design principles and manufacturing processes and materials (metals and composite)
  • Appropriate experience in the application of specific stress and fatigue analysis tools (e.g. Nastran, Hyperworks)
  • Solid skills in FE Modeling techniques including pre- and post-processing
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
