Facilities Director

We are seeking a highly motivated Facilities Lead to join Project A Ventures in our Aachen office. As part of the Operations department, you will oversee facility management and ensure all systems run smoothly.

This role involves setting up and optimising facilities, managing workspace layouts, coordinating with vendors, and implementing robust EHSS initiatives to create a safe and efficient environment that enhances productivity and wellbeing for all occupants.

• Oversight of facility and equipment maintenance to ensure smooth operation of essential building systems
• Optimisation of workspace layout and space allocation to meet evolving organisational needs
• Leadership of vendor management, hiring, and coordination of contractors and negotiation of contracts and pricing
• Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless facility operations
• Oversight of occupational health and safety initiatives, establishing protocols in partnership with TÜV to maintain compliance with German EHSS standards and ISO frameworks
• Conducting first aid, evacuation, and safety training to ensure employee awareness and preparedness
• Management of EHSS audits, implementation of corrective actions, and enhancement of emergency protocols

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, along with 5+ years of hands-on experience in a comparable role within EHSS or facility management.

A strong working knowledge of German EHSS standards, TÜV compliance, and ISO frameworks is required, as well as fluency in written and spoken German and English.
