YOUR ROLE
As a key member of our global legal team, you will tackle exciting challenges and contribute to our corporate objectives. Your role as a Legal Counsel will encompass the following responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a diverse range of contracts throughout the pharmaceutical value chain, including confidentiality agreements, IT contracts, service agreements, and distribution contracts.
- Offer business-oriented and dependable legal guidance to internal stakeholders on various matters, including clinical trials, marketing initiatives, and the dissemination of promotional and medical materials.
- Assess and analyze legal risks, developing and implementing sound legal and economic strategies to mitigate them.
- Identify educational needs among business stakeholders and create and deliver training sessions on pertinent legal topics.
- Collaborate with the tax department on intercompany agreements and restructuring initiatives.
- Manage and coordinate external legal counsel as necessary for advice across different jurisdictions.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Fully qualified lawyer or equivalent educational background, preferably with additional qualifications such as an LL.M.
- Several years of experience in an international law firm or corporate environment, ideally within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and contract law, with a preference for expertise in pharmaceutical and medical regulations.
- Proficient in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex agreements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Adept at presenting complex issues to diverse audiences.
- Independent, proactive, and customer-focused work ethic.
- Team-oriented with intercultural competence, strong communication, and exceptional organizational skills.
