About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Advisor to join our team at MAM Gruppe, a prominent player in the construction and real estate services industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on engaging and challenging projects, providing comprehensive legal advice and support to our operational business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal advice and support to our operational business units, with a primary focus on German construction and procurement law.
  • Manage legal risks throughout the process of preparing bids, concluding contracts, and executing construction and service agreements.
  • Contribute to internal reporting, offering insights to division managers and corporate headquarters.
  • Oversee the examination, assertion, enforcement, or defence of claims, and coordinate with external legal counsel during disputes.
  • Conduct internal training sessions, particularly focusing on construction contract law (VOB/BGB contracts) and procurement law.
Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in law, preferably with a 2nd state examination in law (with honours preferred) and substantial knowledge of construction and procurement law gained through practical experience. A minimum of 5 years' professional experience as a lawyer or in-house counsel is required, with experience within a company being advantageous, ideally including 2 years in construction law.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Practical experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal proceedings is essential, as is a high level of commitment, decisiveness, assertiveness, and a service-oriented approach. Fluency in both German and English is also required.
