We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our news team as a Newsroom Operations Coordinator.

This role involves coordinating the logistics of our busy newsrooms in Dublin and across the regions, ensuring the smooth daily operation of our news operation.

The successful candidate will provide vital operational support to our news team, including preparing newsroom rosters, managing staff work and holiday schedules, and arranging cover for staff who become unavailable.

They will also be responsible for forward planning, news diary, and day-sheet management, as well as setting up and pursuing stories for next day and future coverage.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the logistics of our news operation
  • Prepare newsroom rosters and manage staff work and holiday schedules
