Cloud Engineer for SAP's Common Service Infrastructure

What You'll Do:
Our services are designed and implemented using cutting-edge technologies, particularly Kubernetes, and are running at large scale in major cloud provider infrastructures. With a strong focus on reusability across the SAP HANA Database & Analytics portfolio, we're fulfilling our responsibility to provide an enterprise-ready unified data and semantics layer that enables customers to build mission-critical, scalable, and reliable applications.
The Role:
As a Cloud Engineer, you'll join an agile team responsible for managing and provisioning our service infrastructure. You'll help automate landscape deployment on various hyperscalers and improve the availability, scalability, and reliability of our services. Our teams are empowered and self-organizing, and you'll participate in the design, implementation, and high-quality delivery of the solution. You may need to respond to incidents and their root cause analysis.
What You Bring:
- Strong degree in computer science, informatics, business informatics, or related areas
- Experience and interest in container management (Docker, Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
- Experience with cloud offerings of major hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, preferably Python or Golang
- Excellent language skills in English
- We're looking for a team player with exceptional soft skills
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
