The ideal candidate will have expertise in statistical and machine learning methods for data analysis, as well as experience with bioscientific programming.
The successful applicant will conduct integrative analyses of biomedical datasets, with a focus on omics data, including implementing and applying software analysis pipelines and interpreting disease-related data in collaboration with experimental and clinical teams. Bioinformatics analyses guided by prior mechanistic knowledge will be conducted, exploiting known grouping structures among features in the omics data using dedicated approaches for structured data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data analysis pipelines for large-scale biomedical data
- Apply statistical and machine learning methods for data interpretation
- Collaborate with experimental and clinical teams to integrate findings
Requirements:
- PhD or equivalent degree in bioinformatics, biostatistics, computational biology, machine learning or related fields
- Prior experience in large-scale data processing and statistics/machine learning
- A track record of previous publications in bioinformatics analysis of large-scale biomedical data
- Demonstrated skills and knowledge in next-generation sequencing data analysis, biostatistics, machine learning, pathway/network analysis
Benefits
