About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Specialist to join our team at Amazon Logistik Westfalenhuette GmbH - E74. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving process improvements and optimizing our business processes to ensure seamless customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze data and gather feedback from stakeholders to identify inefficiencies in current operations
  • Establish frameworks to ensure the balance between quality, speed, cost, and other factors are optimized
  • Share ideas with colleagues and leadership on how processes can be improved
  • Regularly review process efficiencies and offer data-led solutions for changes that will see long-term improvements
A Day in the Life

As a Process Improvement Specialist, you will be focused on driving business objectives, improving efficiency, and increasing reliability. You will work closely with senior management and stakeholders to define project requirements, update on status, risks, and impacts. You will also create communication plans to bring everyone up to speed with new processes.

Our team at Amazon Logistik Westfalenhuette GmbH - E74 is responsible for managing the entire service, from supply chain fulfillment to delivery and returns. We are committed to providing an extra level of customer care, including unpacking, assembling, and installing large items, and taking away old items where needed. We are a dynamic team with a focus on safety, productivity, and innovation, and we are changing the way customers buy and receive large goods for the better.

Requirements
  • A degree in business, supply chain, transportation, economics, or a technical field
  • Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
  • Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership
  • Experience in Fulfillment Center operations and process improvement
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques
  • Experience with supporting tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, MS Excel, and MS Access)
  • Shop-floor affinity and experience in Industrial Engineering, Business Process Engineering, Quality, Operations, or Logistics
  • Subject Matter Expert in any fulfillment center process
