Senior Manager, Payroll Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Payroll Operations to join our team at Remote. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Payroll Operations team, providing guidance and mentorship, and ensuring the payroll function is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with country-specific government regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, manage, and scale the Payroll Operations team.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and hold them accountable.
- Act as a partner, enabler, and coach to people leaders throughout the organization.
- Owning the complete payroll function, ensuring payroll is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with country-specific government regulations.
- Serve as a point of contact between internal and external stakeholders on all payroll-related matters.
- Collaborate with the Senior Payroll Leadership team to identify and implement strategies and initiatives aligned with business values and objectives to support the payroll organization in achieving its goals.
- Act as a thought partner and soundboard to People Managers in organizational planning and team management.
- Drive organizational change within payroll, leverage data and analytics to evolve programs, and ensure that Remote is providing world-class payroll experiences.
- Exhibit a growth mindset with a high level of emotional intelligence in daily work and your own professional development.
- Be up to date with various international payroll laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all corporate and country-specific regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and implement best practices, key performance indicators, and SLA metrics for the team.
