About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe/Google Cloud Developer to join our team at Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft. As a key member of our Private Bank Data & Analytics Tribe Domain, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality data solutions to support our business goals.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop engineering solutions to accomplish business objectives
  • Ensure reliability and resiliency in solutions through thorough testing and reviewing
  • Maintain and improve existing engineering solutions to ensure reusability and efficiency
  • Participate in industry forums to drive adoption of innovative technologies and solutions

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent) with a minor in Finance, Mathematics, or Engineering
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English (written and verbal)
  • Ability to design and write code in accordance with provided business requirements
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, maintenance, and support of applications with large amounts of data
  • Knowledge of Mainframe and SAS, with a strong understanding of Python/PySpark
  • Understanding of supporting distributed global systems, ideally both Hadoop and Google Cloud Platform
