Production Coordinator

Flowserve is seeking a dedicated Production Planner to join our team at our Itzehoe site. As a key member of our production planning team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing production planning and scheduling for our vacuum and side channel pumps.

• Manage all planning inputs, including sales orders, OEM forecasts, custom/special orders, and strategic build plans.
• Translate consolidated sales forecasts into a master production schedule/build schedule using the MRP system.
• Prepare and distribute weekly production schedules/work orders and dispatch lists.
• Prepare KPIs for production and lead shopfloor-management activities.
• Initiate 'make or buy' decisions together with the purchasing team and coordinate external/internal machining/assembly.
• Assist management in resolving problems with late shipments, material shortages, customer schedule changes, and cancellations of customer orders.

• Fluency and proficiency in the practical application of MRP logic, scheduling logic, order policies, (rough cut) capacity planning, input/output control, product structures, routings, and standards maintenance.
• Knowledgeable in master scheduling, production planning, and demand management.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills required with the ability to work well with all levels of employees and internal departments in a diverse environment.
• Professional experience with SAP R/3, SAP APO, and/or SAP S/4 HANA preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Fluency in German and English.
• BS or BA Degree in a relevant field and 5-7 years of relevant experience.
