Infrastructure-as-Code Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer Infrastructure-as-Code to join our team at Materna Infrastructure Solutions GmbH. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex infrastructure projects using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) toolkits.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement complex data center projects using IaC toolkits.
- Analyze customer requirements and develop technical concepts and solution scenarios.
- Provide expert advice to customers on IaC and deliver training and workshops.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network, IT security, storage, VMware, and data security experts.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure solutions for our customers over an extended period.
- Support the evaluation of customer requirements during the tendering process.
- Experience with Ansible and Terraform or similar automation frameworks and advanced knowledge thereof.
- Experience with highly automated infrastructure platforms and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
- Kubernetes knowledge and REST API knowledge are an advantage.
- Ideally, experience with government agencies for internal and external security.
- Willingness to undergo a security check in accordance with German law.
- Excellent German language skills (C2) in writing and speaking and good English language skills (B2).
- Project-related travel readiness - up to 4 days every 2 weeks.
- Willingness to work in a fully remote organization.
