Accounting Specialist

We are a mid-sized company and part of a leading transportation company in the fruit and vegetable industry. We offer our customers a wide range of logistics and warehousing services in our own cold storage logistics center. For our location in Kehl-Auenheim, we are looking for an experienced Bilanzbuchhalter/-in (Financial Controller).

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Preparing and reviewing monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP
• Serving as the primary point of contact for tax consultants and auditors
• Coordinating intercompany transactions
• Processing payroll and accounts payable
• Recording and processing freight and cost invoices
• Reviewing and reconciling bank accounts
• Processing incoming invoices
• Performing account reconciliations
• Managing cash flow and payment processing

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proficiency in common accounting software
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
