About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sourcing Expert to join our team at LyondellBasell. As a key member of our Raw Material Procurement team, you will be responsible for executing the sourcing process and effectively sourcing raw materials to meet internal customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to meet business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand demands and prepare demand forecasts.
- Perform spend analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure high ethical and financial control compliance standards are met.
- Maximize revenue share and control costs through effective negotiations with suppliers.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to implement strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Identify and select suppliers who prioritize sustainability practices and contribute to our company's commitment to environmental and social responsibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in business-related positions, preferably in the chemical or related industry.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a global team.
- Good English skills required.
- Negotiations and contract experience preferred.
