Android Automotive Technical Leader

Job Description:
KPIT is seeking an experienced Technical Leader to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of new features and functionalities for existing applications.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop New Features: Design, develop, and implement new features and functionalities for our Android Automotive applications.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to technical problems.
- Maintain and Enhance Existing Applications: Collaborate with teams to maintain and enhance existing Android Automotive applications.
- Ensure Compatibility: Ensure that applications are compatible with the latest Android Automotive technology and features.
- Troubleshoot and Debug Issues: Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing applications.
- Write Clean Code: Write clean, maintainable code that is optimized for performance.
- Code Quality: Ensure code quality through testing and code reviews.
- Software Development Life Cycle: Participate in the full software development life cycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Integration with Third Party APIs and Libraries: Integration with third party API's and libraries.
About You:
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field.
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience in developing Android Automotive applications.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Android Automotive architecture and frameworks.
- Programming Languages: Proficient in programming languages such as Kotlin and Java.
- Large-Scale Projects: Experience working on large-scale projects with cross-functional teams.
- Software Development Best Practices: Knowledge of software development best practices, including code reviews, tools, testing and version control (Git, Github, Jira, CICD, etc).
- Agile Development Methodologies: Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Design Patterns: Solid understanding of design patterns.

- Essential Skills: Infotainment, Android, Kotlin, Java.
- Preferred Skills: Git, Github, Jira, CICD.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
