  • We are looking for a motivated and highly skilled individual to join our team as a Steel Construction Engineer Trainee in the field of paper production.

About the Role

The Steel Construction Engineer Trainee will be responsible for carrying out calculations and simulations based on load on the bonnet. The role involves applying theoretical knowledge from studies in practice and taking part in project meetings with various departments.

Your Profile

  • You should be an enrolled student in engineering, mechanical engineering, design engineering or a similar field.
  • A good knowledge of design, steel construction, specialized structures or technical mechanics and materials engineering is required, along with basic knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and technical drawing is necessary, and experience with FEM analyses is an advantage.
  • Very good knowledge of German or English is required, both written and spoken.
  • You should impress with your independent and structured way of working, high willingness to learn and ability to work in a team.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to occasionally travel for up to one week are also essential.

Earning Potential

Our estimated salary for this position is around €55,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location. This includes benefits such as health insurance, pension plans and paid time off.
