Educational Research Expert

The University of Luxembourg is a renowned international research university, distinguished by its multilingual and interdisciplinary character. Our Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences (FHSE) brings together expertise from various fields, including the humanities, linguistics, cognitive sciences, social, and educational sciences.

We are seeking an Educational Research Expert to join our team in the Department of Education & Social Work (DESW). This role involves designing and delivering courses in the full range of the Faculty's study programmes in Education, as well as engaging in research and transfer activities aligned with the Department's research agenda.

• Develop and maintain teaching activities in one of the following areas: STEAM Education, Teaching and Learning Sciences, Teaching and Learning Children's and Youth Literature, or Teaching and Learning Visual Arts and Aesthetics Education.
• Conduct research in your area of expertise, identifying inspiring practices that can inform teacher education and the school system.
• Undertake tutoring and internship supervision of students, and engage with national education actors.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A PhD degree in educational sciences, with a focus on primary and pre-primary education.
• Expertise in primary and pre-primary education related to one of the above-listed areas.
• Experience in teacher education and research.
