Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Service Engineer to join our team at Nikon SLM Solutions AG. As a key member of our global service organization, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise and support to customers and internal stakeholders on our Selective Laser Melting (SLM) machines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve product performance
• Develop and deliver training programs for internal and external personnel on SLM technology and best practices
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for technical product notifications
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in additive manufacturing

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or electrical engineering
• Strong knowledge of QM methods and structured problem-solving approaches
• Experience in the field of metallurgy, welding, or optics, with a strong understanding of SLM and L-PBF processes
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, with a customer-focused approach
• Fluency in English, with German a plus
• Ability to travel globally (approximately 30%) and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
