About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DRG-Controlling Specialist to join our team at Johanniter. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient coding of patient data.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough reviews of patient records to ensure accurate coding and classification of diagnoses and procedures
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to resolve coding discrepancies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain knowledge of coding systems, including ICD-10 and OPS, to ensure accurate and up-to-date coding practices
• Provide training and support to healthcare staff on coding best practices and regulatory requirements
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance coding accuracy and efficiency

Requirements

• Relevant education and experience in healthcare coding and classification
• Strong knowledge of coding systems, including ICD-10 and OPS
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
