We are seeking a highly motivated Project Development Manager to join our team in the Green Power & Heat business area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing development projects, contributing to Uniper's growth in Germany, and working with a highly motivated team of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage large-scale projects related to power generation, infrastructure, or heavy industry
  • Lead the development of clean dispatchable power projects from initial ideation to final investment proposal
  • Manage interfaces with other corporate functions to review high-quality investment proposals
  • Establish a strong project governance structure and manage stakeholder interests
  • Gather market intelligence and support lobbying of political and regulatory changes

Requirements

  • University degree in relevant studies, e.g. engineering, business administration, economics, or physics
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in project development and management, preferably in the energy sector
  • Certified project management skills and experience in functional leadership of international teams
  • Profound understanding of technical and commercial requirements of development activities
  • Excellent conceptual and strategic thinking, communication, and presentation skills
