We are a leading international HR consultancy with extensive experience in executive search. Our clients rely on us to find highly qualified and top-level managers worldwide. Our client is a German market leader in the field of electrotechnical components and automation products for building technology and industrial applications. They have a strong presence in Spain and Portugal and are looking for a Country Sales Director to lead their sales organization in these regions.
Key Responsibilities:- Full P&L responsibility for all business in Spain and Portugal with a strong focus on sales and marketing.
- Providing proactive and dynamic leadership to a team of approximately 15 employees.
- Strategically developing the business and implementing sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue and increase brand awareness.
- Expansion of key markets such as building technology, machine building, wind energy, and e-mobility as well as identification of new business opportunities.
- Expansion of the distribution network as well as direct business to end customers.
- Manage and further deepen the relations to the most important key accounts.
- Technical degree or degree in Business Administration; MBA would be a plus.
- Long-term leadership experience in General or Sales Management roles, preferably with P&L responsibility.
- Good knowledge in the field of automation, electrical engineering, electronics, or electromechanical components for industrial applications and/or building technology.
- Entrepreneurial, pro-active, and passionate sales-personality with conceptual capabilities.
- Excellent communication along with strong analytical skills.
- Business fluent in Spanish and English.
- Trustworthy person living in the Barcelona region or willingness to relocate.
