Automated Turning Specialist

A Role that Counts: Your Responsibilities
- Independently set up and operate CNC-controlled single- and multi-spindle turning machines
- Perform tool changeovers and machine checks
- Ensure timely and quality production
- Conduct quality control (workpiece inspection) and monitor production processes
- Analyze and resolve machine and equipment malfunctions
- Support our LEAN activities
Experience that Counts: Your Skills
- Completed apprenticeship as a machinist for automated turning or equivalent training
- Several years of experience in independently setting up CNC turning machines and loading programs
- Excellent knowledge of machine operation from manufacturers such as INDEX, TRAUB, DMG, Spinner, Citizen, Mazak, Okuma, Tornos, Star, and Schütte
- Willingness to develop and expand existing knowledge and skills towards automation
- High level of initiative and teamwork, combined with quick understanding and independent working style
- Willingness to work shifts (early, late, and night shifts)
- You enjoy participating in continuous improvement processes at the Werk Ennepetal
