Aerostructure Supply Chain & Quality Manager

Join Orizon GmbH, Unit Aviation, as a Supply Chain & Quality Manager Aerostructure in Customer Services. Our client Airbus Operations is looking for a professional to manage the supply chain, including quality aspects, for their Hamburg location.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate suppliers in the tender phase and contribute to the selection decision when introducing new products.
  • Manage the supply chain, including review of quality aspects.
  • Responsible for on-time and quality (and cost, if applicable) delivery.
  • Identify supplier industrial risks and take short-term action to improve performance.
  • Verify supplier certifications in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Evaluate supplier capacities, capabilities, and performance and contribute to the development.
  • Support annual vendor evaluation and present operational performance during meetings.
Your Profile:
  • Completed studies in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics, Supply Chain Quality, or comparable.
  • Several years of work experience in Supplier Management, Quality Management, and Supply Chain.
  • Good knowledge in SAP/R3.
  • Knowledge in Google Suite.
  • Knowledge in Lean Management and Project Management.
  • Willingness for occasional business trips.
