As a Backend Engineer at Staffbase, you'll be responsible for designing and developing scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems that power our internal communications platform. You'll work closely with our cross-functional scrum team to produce high-quality code, collaborate on code reviews, and continuously learn and share knowledge with your peers.

What You'll Be Doing- Designing and developing scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems
- Collaborating with our cross-functional scrum team to produce high-quality code
- Participating in code reviews and continuously learning and sharing knowledge with your peers
- Working iteratively, frequently pushing code, and ensuring a good CI/CD pipeline
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for building scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems
- Experience with Kotlin, Go, and/or Java
- Understanding of REST and Microservices, as well as Test Driven Development
- Preferably, experience in an agile environment
- Good English communication skills
- Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding and appreciation of diversity and inclusivity in the workplace
