Senior Engineer System Safety Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer System Safety to join our team in Hamburg or Bremen. As a key member of our safety engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that Airbus products meet the highest standards of airworthiness and safety.
Your primary responsibilities will include performing System Safety Assessment activities for aircraft systems, generating and updating assessments of intended design modifications, and performing safety analysis of in-service events. You will also be responsible for managing input from and output to interfacing technical domains and technology.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering, with comprehensive System Safety Assessment experience and advanced knowledge of Safety processes, regulations, and guidelines. You will also need to be target-oriented with analytic problem-solving skills, able to perform several Systems Safety tasks in parallel, and a team player with good communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform System Safety Assessment activities for aircraft systems

Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
- Comprehensive System Safety Assessment experience and advanced knowledge of Safety processes, regulations, and guidelines
- Target-oriented with analytic problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform several Systems Safety tasks in parallel
- Team player with good communication skills
- Very good written and spoken English and German
