Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Support Analysis Engineer to join our Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) team in Hamburg, Germany. As a Logistics Support Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the cost-effective, timely, and customer-satisfactory execution of technical documentation, training, and other ILS project components.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support national and international customer projects in the field of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)
- Perform Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Lifecycle Costing (LCC), and RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) analyses
- Calculate LSA/ILS/LCC key performance indicators (KPIs) based on design documents and validation against customer requirements
- Determine and optimize maintenance, repair, and overhaul tasks to achieve specified ILS/LSA/LCC targets
- Manage and update LSA databases
- Research information from various sources (purchasing, production, design, etc.) and ensure consistency between data from different sources
- Support the department manager in creating offers
- Collaborate with industrial partners and subcontractors
- Communicate directly with customers (shipyards) and military end customers on your own responsibility
- Ensure the delivery of contractual items in terms of quality and time frame
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field
- Several years of relevant experience in ILS/LSA/RAMS, preferably in the maritime industry
- Profound experience in the field of Integrated Logistics Support
- Knowledge of relevant ILS standards, especially ASD Suite of Specification and/or adequate international standards (MIL-Std, etc.)
- Experience in working on military projects and with military customers
- Excellent technical German and English skills
- Methodical and didactic presentation skills
- Willingness to work in a military environment
